PondShare was founded on two simple principles: a passion for finding the next great catch and the belief that private water should be accessible to those who respect it.
For our founder, the love for fishing began as far back as memory serves. That lifelong passion, combined with the discipline, service, and organizational skills honed during military service, drove the creation of a platform built on trust, transparency, and structure.
The Idea
The idea for PondShare was born out of personal frustration. Like many anglers, our founder was constantly searching for new, high-quality places to fish, tired of crowded public lakes and wishing there was a way to respectfully access the amazing private waters tucked away across the country.
We realized that property owners want to monetize their ponds, and anglers want exclusive access. All that was missing was a secure, reliable marketplace to connect them.
